On February 6, 2025, 18-year-old Hispanic male Jonathan Muñoz Mata was fatally shot in Redwood City, California. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. on the 500 block of Adams Street, near a Whole Foods Market. Responding officers found Jonathan lying in the street with a single gunshot wound to the torso.
