On the evening of February 8, 2025, 20-year-old Delilah Ruiz, a white female, was fatally shot outside her home in Homestead, Florida. The tragic incident unfolded following a heated dispute between Ruiz and her ex-boyfriend, 19-year-old Elijah Clarke, over money. According to investigators, Ruiz had received a notification that Clarke had transferred funds from their shared Cash App account.
