Tanaejah Atterbury, a 16-year-old girl, was fatally shot on February 17, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Reports indicate that she was standing near a fight involving two teenage girls when someone pulled out a gun and fired into the crowd. Atterbury was struck by gunfire and later died at the hospital.
