In the quiet community of Terre Haute, Indiana, a grim event unfolded on the night of March 20, 2025, that would end the life of 46-year-old Mark Gayer. Deputies from the Vigo County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence in the 5200 block of North 13th 1/2 Street at approximately 10:15 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
