Jaime Muñoz Velazquez, a 32-year-old man, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2025, in Terre Haute, Indiana. The incident occurred at the Candlewood Suites Hotel in downtown Terre Haute, where Muñoz Velazquez was staying as part of a group of out-of-town laborers. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 9 p.m. and discovered Muñoz Velazquez’s body in room 523, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
