Luis G. Vicente-Martinez, a 59-year-old Hispanic male, was found shot to death inside a van on Curry Ford Road in Orlando, Florida, during the early morning hours of March 15, 2025. Authorities responded to a 911 call reporting gunfire at approximately 2:48 a.m. and discovered the victim deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Investigators determined that the incident was a robbery, leading them to identify a suspect who had fled the scene.
The primary suspect in the case, Gabriel Joel
Bruno De Leon, a 27-year-old male, was arrested in Puerto Rico on April 11, 2025. Law enforcement officials, including the U.S. Marshals Service and Homeland Security, captured De Leon after he fled Orlando following the crime. He faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder with a firearm, robbery with a firearm, and second-degree grand theft. Authorities believe De Leon was the shooter responsible for Vicente-Martinez’s death.
Additionally, another suspect, Ibanys Oliver, a 43-year-old male, was arrested in Orlando on April 29, 2025. Oliver is accused of driving the vehicle used in the crime and has been charged with accessory after the fact to a capital felony. The Orlando Police Department continues to investigate the case, but officials have stated that no other suspects are outstanding.
