Linda Rodriguez, a 50-year-old Hispanic woman, was found dead in her home in Azusa, California, on March 15, 2025. Authorities responded to a domestic violence call at approximately 2:00 p.m. at a residence on North Twintree Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Linda Rodriguez and her husband, Arthur Contreras, both suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Tragically, they succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later confirmed that Linda Rodriguez had also suffered a gunshot wound to the head in addition to the stab wounds. The manner of death was officially ruled as homicide. The suspect in this case was identified as the couple’s son, Gabriel Contreras, a 29-year-old man. He was arrested in connection with the double murder and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of assault with a firearm.
