Angel Ramirez, a 24-year-old man from Winton, California, was fatally shot in the head on the evening of March 22, 2025. Deputies responded to reports of a man bleeding in front of a home on Bobbi Avenue, where they discovered Ramirez suffering from a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The shooting occurred during a gathering at a residence in the area, though authorities have yet to determine a motive for the incident.
Following the
investigation, law enforcement arrested two suspects in connection with Ramirez’s death. A 17-year-old juvenile from Winton was taken into custody on suspicion of homicide, while 20-year-old Jerardo Ochoa-Aguilar, also from Winton, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to the crime.
