On the night of April 3, 2025, Oscar Cuevas, a 61-year-old Hispanic man, was found unconscious and not breathing in a commercial parking lot on the 1700 block of Berryessa Road in San Jose, California. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Medical personnel determined that he had been shot at least once.
