On the evening of April 7, 2025, Daniel Garcia, a 28-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in El Monte, California. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Peck Road. Emergency responders transported Garcia to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has not disclosed details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
