Thayron Paxton, a 43-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in Lancaster, California, on April 8, 2025. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of West Avenue I, near 13th Street West, at approximately 2:35 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene and found Paxton suffering from a gunshot wound to the pelvis. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead at 3:01 p.m.
