Porsha Chinnette Evans, a 31-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life on April 12, 2025, in Los Angeles, California. She was formally pronounced dead at 4:42 p.m. in a hospital, where she had been taken after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound to the abdomen. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office classified her death as a homicide. Born in Los Angeles County, Evans carried the maiden name of Lewis from her mother’s side.
