Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive 34-year-old Latino male, Jesse Huidor, in the garage of a rear unit on the property. He had suffered a gunshot wound, and paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department attempted life-saving measures. However, Jesse Huidor was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner formally identified the victim the following day, confirming his identity as Jesse Huidor, a resident of Baldwin Park. His death came just one day after his 34th birthday, adding to the heartbreak felt by his family and community. A growing memorial of flowers and candles now surrounds the home where he was found, serving as a symbol of love and remembrance for those mourning his loss.
Jesse Huidor’s family has described him as a kind, genuine, and selfless person who always put others first. His passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew him. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office later determined that the manner of death was suicide, with the cause being a gunshot wound to the head. Jesse Huidor, a 34-year-old Latino male, was formally pronounced dead at 7:02 p.m. on May 6, 2025. His case was recorded under the number 2025-07553. Out of the 13 deaths publicly reported on that day, five were suicides, all involving male individuals.
At this time, there are no reports of any arrests or suspects related to Jesse Huidor’s death. Authorities have not indicated any ongoing criminal investigation into the incident.
