In the small city of Eudora, Arkansas, the evening of Sunday, January 12, 2025, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 8:15 p.m., a local police officer on patrol heard what was believed to be gunshots and moved towards the area to investigate. Witnesses in the 1000 block of North Main Street flagged the officer down, reporting that a man had been shot at his residence.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Jamarion Plummer, a male resident of Eudora.
Following the shooting, Plummer was transported in a private vehicle to Chicot Memorial Medical Center for initial treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Jamarion Plummer succumbed to his injuries at approximately 11:30 p.m. that same night.
The Eudora Police Department requested the assistance of the Arkansas State Police's Criminal Investigation Division to lead the inquiry into Plummer's death. His body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to officially determine the cause and manner of death. The investigation into the homicide of Jamarion Plummer is currently ongoing. As of now, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or announced any arrests in connection with the shooting. The circumstances leading up to the fatal incident remain under investigation.
