On a vacation from her Chicago home, 25-year-old Mashay Miller, an African American woman, was fatally shot in Tempe, Arizona, in the early morning hours of February 6, 2025. The tragic series of events began to unfold around 1:30 a.m. with a dispute at the Main Event entertainment center located near Priest Drive and Warner Road.
