In a quiet Scottsdale, Arizona neighborhood, the life of 15-year-old Sophia Brin Lonergan, a female Caucasian, was tragically cut short in what police have described as a murder-suicide. On March 26, 2025, officers discovered the bodies of Sophia, her 46-year-old mother, Lisa Kay Lonergan, and her 51-year-old father, Tod Daniel Lonergan, inside their home near Indian Bend Road and Via De La Sendero. All three had suffered gunshot wounds.
