On December 30, 2024, 22-year-old Frank Crenshaw, a resident of Fort Deposit, Alabama, lost his life in what authorities have described as a violent carjacking attempt. Crenshaw was driving a 1999 Honda Accord when he was approached by multiple individuals in the Edgewood community of Fort Deposit. According to law enforcement officials, the suspects attempted to steal his vehicle, prompting Crenshaw to flee on foot.
