On April 8, 2025, a fatal shooting occurred in Danville, Alabama, claiming the life of 34-year-old Jacob Lee Palmer. Authorities responded to a shots-fired call around 1:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of County Road 200. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Palmer, a Caucasian male, unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in the front yard near his vehicle.
