In the early afternoon of a Tuesday in Danville, Alabama, a violent altercation ended the life of 34-year-old Jacob Lee Palmer. Responding to a 911 call around 1:15 p.m., authorities arrived at a residence in the 2000 block of County Road 200 to find Palmer unresponsive in the front yard near his vehicle. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was subsequently ruled a homicide.
