Elaine Louise Zeigler, a 15-year-old girl from Parkman, Ohio, disappeared on New Year's Eve in 1975 while vacationing with her family at a KOA campground near Brooksville, Florida. She was last seen heading to the camp showers, but never returned. Initially, authorities suspected she had run away, as some witnesses claimed to have seen a girl matching her description riding a motorbike and stating she was returning to Ohio.
