Joanna Garza, a three-month-old Hispanic female, died on November 30, 1976, in Friona, Texas. Her cause of death was officially recorded as 'strangulation due to asphyxiation due to convulsive disorder.' At the time, her death was not considered suspicious, and no autopsy was performed.
