On July 21, 1982, the body of 22-year-old Peggy Susanne Donath was discovered in Boone County, Missouri, near Williams Road, close to Riggs Quarry. Her body was partially decomposed, and an autopsy later determined that Peggy had been the victim of a homicide. She had last been seen alive on July 14, 1982, at her mobile home in the Paddock Meadows trailer park, where she mentioned to a friend that she wanted to go out for ice cream and a swim.
