Julia Critchfield, a 36-year-old woman, was tragically murdered in 1978. Her body was discovered at the bottom of a dirt pit in Saucier, Mississippi. She had been strangled to death, and evidence suggested she had been sexually assaulted before being killed. Her remains were found partially clad, with her wallet and purse contents scattered nearby. Investigators determined that she had died around midnight, just hours after leaving Chris's Lounge in Gulfport.
