In the quiet town of Addis, Louisiana, the life of 21-year-old Geralyn DeSoto, a promising Louisiana State University graduate, was brutally cut short on January 14, 2002. On that tragic morning, she was found in a pool of her own blood in her home, having been viciously beaten and stabbed to death. Her throat had been cut.
