Carlos Perez, a 19-year-old male, was found murdered in a Super 8 motel room in Melbourne, Florida, on August 27, 2003. His body was discovered naked on a bed, strangled, and with his throat cut. The crime scene had been cleaned before police arrived, but investigators found a hair similar to that of Henry Lee Jones, who was later convicted of the murder.
