Investigations revealed that these deaths were caused by the administration of mivacurium chloride a muscle relaxant that, when given in high doses, can cause respiratory failure.
The primary suspect in these deaths was Vickie Dawn Jackson, a licensed vocational nurse employed at the hospital during this period. Jackson was accused of deliberately administering lethal doses of Mivacron to at least ten patients, including Jennings.
