Michael Petree, a 15-year-old male, was discovered deceased in rural Hamilton County, Indiana, on June 16, 1980. His body was found unclothed, and the cause of death was determined to be strangulation. Petree had been reported missing on June 7, 1980, and was last seen riding in a stranger’s car in different parts of Indianapolis three days after his disappearance. Toxicology reports indicated that no traces of drugs or alcohol were found in his system.
