Mary Leah Rodermund, a 16-year-old girl from Morgan City, Louisiana, was abducted on March 2, 1978, from the Inglewood Shopping Mall. Her disappearance was linked to serial killer Robert Carl Hohenberger, a former California sheriff's deputy with a history of violent crimes. Rodermund was last seen purchasing items at a drugstore before her abandoned car was discovered in the parking lot.
