Mary Francis Haugh was tragically killed on November 5, 1905, in what was later determined to be a murder. She was poisoned and burned alongside her husband, Samuel Jacob Haugh, and her son, Jesse Lincoln Haugh, in their home in Dayton, Ohio. The circumstances surrounding their deaths were deeply suspicious, and the case quickly became one of the most infamous crimes of the time.
