On the evening of Saturday, November 26, 2011, McKune George Collins, a 25-year-old Black man from Victorville, California, was fatally shot in Long Beach. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of Ackerfield Avenue. Collins was found with gunshot wounds to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
