Joyce Dickerson-Peay, a 37-year-old Black/African American woman, disappeared from her home in Springfield, Massachusetts, prompting her daughter to file a missing person's report. Tragically, her frozen body was discovered on March 11, 1998, near a vacant restaurant in downtown Springfield, three weeks after she was last seen.
