John Ingram Brandenburg Jr., a 19-year-old male, tragically lost his life in May 1983. His remains were discovered on October 18, 1983, in Newton County, Indiana, alongside three other victims. The bodies were found by mushroom hunters near an abandoned farmhouse. All four victims had been partially buried, bound, and stabbed multiple times. The circumstances of their deaths pointed to a serial killer, later identified as Larry Eyler, also known as the 'Highway Killer'.
