Evandre Harris, identified in court records under that spelling, was a 44-year-old Black woman whose killing became part of the series of murders later attributed to Chicago serial killer Andre Crawford. Harris was found dead on August 13, 1998, inside an abandoned house at 920 West 52nd Street in Chicago. Her body was discovered on the first floor, lying across an ottoman in the kitchen, with a telephone cord found several feet away. Although some later accounts have given conflicting dates for ...
