LeRoy Jernigan, a 41-year-old man, was tragically shot to death on June 3, 2006, inside the Circus Restaurant located at 1600 Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, North Carolina. At the time of his death, Jernigan was working as a cleaning contractor at the restaurant during the overnight hours. He was known as a devoted husband and father of two, and those who knew him described him as a man with a big personality and an even bigger heart, always willing to help those in need.
