Earnest Lenoir, a 27-year-old man from St. Louis, Missouri, was shot and killed on May 4, 2008, in an incident at a local car wash. The shooting occurred in the afternoon while Lenoir and two other men were washing their cars. Shots were fired from the rear of the car wash, striking Lenoir in the back. He was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
