Eileen Hunley, a 29-year-old woman, was tragically murdered on August 10, 1974. Her death was part of a series of brutal killings committed by Harvey Carignan, a notorious serial killer also known as 'Harv the Hammer' and the 'Want-Ad Killer.' Carignan, who had a history of violent crimes, used want ads to lure his victims. Eileen Hunley, who lived with Carignan for a few months, became one of his victims during his killing spree in the early 1970s.
