Rosemary Perez, a 28-year-old Hispanic woman, was found dead on January 10, 2015. Her body was discovered wrapped in a sheet along a sidewalk in the 2100 block of San Fernando Street in San Antonio, Texas. The cause of her death was determined to be strangulation. Perez was one of the victims of Johnny Joe Avalos, a serial killer who targeted women in San Antonio between 2012 and 2015.
