A woman is found shot to death in a vacant field
On March 2, 1998, the body of 38-year-old Lisa Lynn Woods was found in a vacant field near an abandoned fire station on North San Marcos Street in San Antonio, Texas. Woods had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and evidence suggested that she was killed elsewhere before being left in the lot. Her body showed signs of post-mortem handling, as her shoes had been placed on her chest, and she was dressed only in grey sweatpants.
