Stan Farr, a 30-year-old white male, was tragically killed on the night of August 2, 1976, in Fort Worth, Texas. Farr, a former college basketball star, was with his girlfriend, Priscilla Davis, when they returned to her mansion after a night out. Upon their arrival, they were ambushed by a man dressed in black, who opened fire on them. Farr was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Priscilla Davis was also shot but survived the attack.
Additionally, Priscilla's 12-year-old daughter, Andrea Wilborn, was found dead in the basement, having been shot earlier in the evening.
The investigation into the murders quickly focused on Priscilla's estranged husband, Cullen Davis, a wealthy oil tycoon. Cullen Davis was known for his volatile temper and had a contentious relationship with Priscilla, who was in the process of divorcing him. Priscilla identified Cullen as the shooter, claiming he was wearing a wig and black clothing during the attack.
