On July 1, 2017, 58-year-old Hispanic male Jose Ontiveros was selling tacos outside a Fort Worth nightclub when he observed two teenagers robbing a patron. In an attempt to intervene, Ontiveros was shot by the assailants. He succumbed to his injuries, resulting in a tragic loss for the community.
Following the incident, the Fort Worth Police Department launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the robbery and subsequent shooting of 58-year-old Hispanic
