Sloane Powell, a 27-year-old white female, was tragically killed on January 17, 1994, in Fort Worth, Texas. On that fateful day, Sloane was at a convenience store located at 4344 E. Lancaster Avenue. As she was leaving the store, she was shot and killed during an apparent robbery. The incident occurred in broad daylight, and the assailant fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
