Captain George Scott Monier, aged 37, was a dedicated officer with the White Settlement Police Department in Texas. On April 24, 2002, he responded to a domestic disturbance call at 9009 Farmers Road. As he entered the rear of the house, the suspect opened fire, striking him in the abdomen and chest.
