Leza Marie Maddalone, a 31-year-old woman from Pearland, Texas, tragically lost her life on August 15, 2005. She was fatally shot in the parking lot of a bank in Pearland, just five days after celebrating her 31st birthday. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on August 14, 2005, and also left her mother, Debra Sanchez, seriously wounded. Sanchez's injuries were so severe that she fell into a coma for several months.
