On June 30, 2007, Deputy Sheriff Michael Page, aged 34, of the Bowie County Sheriff's Office in Texas, tragically lost his life in the line of duty. Deputy Page was shot and killed with his own service weapon during a struggle with a hit-and-run suspect.
