Wesley Dean Brooks, a 28-year-old man from Bowie, Texas, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2014. Brooks was employed in a remodeling business alongside Scott Allen Cambre and Cambre's father. On the night of his death, Brooks was driving Cambre's pickup truck after completing a job. Cambre, who was a passenger in the vehicle, shot Brooks above his right ear while the truck was in motion.
