Michael Jay "Mike" Allred, a 41-year-old bartender from Marble Falls, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on August 24, 2007, at O'Neill's Sports Tavern. Allred, who was known for his generosity and dedication to his family and friends, was the first victim in a series of murders committed by handyman Paul Devoe. Devoe, who had a history of alcohol and drug abuse, allegedly shot Allred in the chest when Allred tried to intervene during an altercation.
