Arden Anne Specia-Spencer, a 52-year-old attorney, tragically lost her life on December 12, 2010, in Canyon Lake, Texas. She was killed by her estranged husband, Mark Anthony Spencer, who then took his own life shortly after. The incident occurred at their ranch home on Purgatory Road in northern Comal County. Specia-Spencer's mother, Mary Specia, witnessed the murder-suicide and recounted how Spencer shot his wife in the head before turning the gun on himself.
