Clifton Leigh Taylor, a 31-year-old male, tragically lost his life on April 23, 2011, in Venus, Texas. Deputy Taylor was responding to a domestic disturbance call when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred shortly after 4 pm when Taylor and other deputies arrived at the scene and began searching for the male suspect involved in the disturbance.
