Jewel Bass, a 74-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically died on August 25, 2011. Her death was the result of a shooting incident in her home. According to police reports, her husband, Johnny Walter Bass, who was 81 years old at the time, fatally shot her. Johnny Bass claimed that he was tired of his wife's verbal abuse and arguments, which had been escalating over the years. He admitted to shooting her in the head after an intense argument the night before.
