Lorena Cedillo, a 34-year-old woman from Freeport, Texas, tragically died on January 8, 2014. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide. Lorena's husband, Moses Cedillo, shot her before taking his own life. The couple had been experiencing marital problems, and it was reported that Moses feared Lorena was planning to leave him. The couple's three young daughters, aged five, eight, and ten, were at school at the time of the incident and were subsequently cared for by family members.
