Jermaine McDaniels, aged 27, was shot and killed on October 5, 2009, in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in North City, a part of St. Louis that had been struggling with increasing violence. Jermaine was sitting in a car in the 6300 block of Stratford, near Goodfellow Boulevard, when a drive-by shooting took place. The attackers fired multiple shots, fatally wounding Jermaine, and then fled the scene.
